Make It Monday- Clip Chart Award Box

I am SO excited!!!  I FINALLY found the PERFECT box to hold all of my clip chart awards. I have been keeping them in a yucky shoebox.  I wish I had snapped a picture, but maybe it is better I didn't!  My box was functional, but not pretty. It also didn't have a lid. I found this little gem at Michael's today.  It is actually a greeting card organizer box.  It comes with little plastic dividers and a flip top lid!!
(Do people still send greeting cards?) Who knew??

At the end of the day, I like to give the kiddos a little certificate to take home.  I usually give them for the kiddos who were showing pride or higher on the class clip chart.  I have them made and ready ahead of time so they are super easy to distribute. *Note:  I do have certificates for Ready to Learn, but usually only give those out once in awhile. (Like on days when it is WINDY! You know what I mean!)  This gives a little extra POSITIVE reinforcement.

I started COLOR CODING the awards, which saved me a ton of time. Instead of always printing them in color, I started copying some of them on colored paper. The color coordinates with the color on the chart. This has made it SUPER EASY to pass them out at the end of the day, and I make a bunch at a time.

Did you notice that my awards don't have a place for a signature? I did that on PURPOSE.  (I know... I know...) The end of the day just seems sooo crazy for me.  I try to cut corners whenever I can.

Now... back to the cute stuff!!!  I couldn't handle having a plain box, so I had to make a swanky label for it.
I also made color coded labels for the tabs.

I printed out a bunch of certificates, and I am ready to start the year.  One thing off my list!!!  Ya-hoo!  I love this linky.  It is keeping me on track!  Can't wait to see what everyone else has been up to today!

I totally have the same estimation with all the comments and Ben's assessment. In our area we are forming a "Task Force for superiority in Education". We are researching what went wrong in Missouri. This is a trouble that has great fender-bender on our prospect.
